Queen of Hearts
Merlin twirling his fancy wand
A shower of stars
And comet tails
And magic words
And pretty prose
And heart shaped incandescence
Woefully short all woo
And comet tails
And magic words
And pretty prose
And no heart
Sleek rain and sleet
Whetting and wetting
The travails of a loner
And comet tails
And magic words
And the pen runs dry
Azure skies and English gloom
Nowhere kingdoms proud castles
Falling through the magic carpet
And haze of drowning senses
And killing pity
And Merlin?
And blue pike?
And a king of castles in the air
As random as a queen of hearts
Alone
So alone
So far
And comet tails
And pretty prose
Can I woo you again?

hmm....its hardly that
and I believe its a crime for the poet to explain what he really meant - so I won't.....

well... too pony-styled a verse for much a grim frame as this.
Great shot.
